Our
Programs

Preservation of the Ancient Arts (PAA, Inc.) is dedicated to strengthening individuals and communities through programs that promote wellness, connection, and accessibility. Each of our programs is rooted in a shared mission and guided by three core pillars:

  • We Build Strong People — Mentally, physically, and emotionally, fostering confidence, discipline, and resilience.

  • We Create Community Where People Truly Belong — Providing environments where youth, adults, and seniors feel seen, valued, and connected.

  • We Make Life-Changing Support Accessible to Everyone — Removing stigma and barriers by creating a community of support and encouragement.

Martial Arts

Tiger on the Red

Using martial arts as a vehicle for personal development, this program helps participants build confidence, self-discipline, resilience, respect, leadership skills, and practical self-defense abilities.

Students learn how to respond to challenges with self-control and confidence while developing the character traits needed to succeed in life. Through positive mentorship and structured training, participants gain skills that help combat bullying, improve self-esteem, foster personal responsibility, and develop the confidence to overcome obstacles both on and off the training floor.

In keeping with the mission of Preservation of the Ancient Arts, Tiger on the Red operates as a donation-supported program. No individual is denied the opportunity to participate because of financial circumstances. Community support helps ensure that mentorship, character development, leadership training, and personal growth remain accessible to anyone who desires to learn.

Old School Dance Hall

A community dance program that encourages movement, social interaction, and healthy engagement at every stage of life.

Through weekly dances featuring live local musicians, the program provides opportunities for people to remain active, build friendships, reduce isolation, and enjoy meaningful face-to-face community connection.

In addition to serving participants, Old School Dance Hall supports local musicians and helps preserve the tradition of live community entertainment by providing a consistent venue where artists can share their talents and connect with audiences.

Peer Support Services

Working alongside healthcare and community partners, this program helps individuals identify personal goals, develop healthy coping strategies, build supportive relationships, and move toward a more purposeful and fulfilling life.

Our focus is not on where a person has been, but on where they want to go and how to achieve their goals in a healthy way. Through encouragement, accountability, and support, participants are empowered to build healthier lifestyles, stronger relationships, and renewed purpose.
